Lead Clinical Psychologist

Olwethu Mncono is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the HPCSA and the lead clinician at uViwe: Heard, Felt & Accepted. She offers a wide range of psychotherapeutic services for individuals (adolescents and adults), couples, and families.

Olwethu practices across multiple evidence-based modalities, selected carefully according to each client's presenting concerns and the scope of the required intervention. Her approach is both thoughtful and deeply attuned to the individual needs of those she works with.

She has significant experience in Forensic Psychiatry, having worked at South Africa's only Psychiatric Maximum Security Unit — Fort England Hospital. She has a proven track record in cases related to Section 79 of the Criminal Procedure Act of 1977, Medical Negligence, and RAF Assessments.

Her areas of specialty include Neuropsychological Assessments and Medico-Legal assessments.
